Stiglitz: the price of inequality

A capacity crowd of two thousand packed Sydney Town Hall on Tuesday 8 July 2014 to hear Nobel Prize-winning economist Joseph E. Stiglitz discuss the price of inequality and what happens when the issue is ignored.

Following his address, Joseph spoke with Adam Spencer, and panellists  Dr Tim Soutphommasane – Race Discrimination Commissioner, Richard Denniss – Executive Director, The Australia Institute, Dr Cassandra Goldie – Chief Executive Officer, ACOSS and Professor Megan Davis – Member, UN Permanent Forum on Indigenous Peoples.
