Madeleine Treacy‑Maclean is a policy researcher and advocate committed to strengthening Australia’s democratic institutions and advancing social justice. With a background in public policy, political science and community engagement, she brings an equity‑focused approach to understanding how structural forces shape economic and social outcomes. Her work centres on the intersection of labour markets, gender equity, and public investment. She has contributed to research projects examining gender equality and the impact of economic policy on marginalised communities.


Madeleine has worked across government and the private sector, supporting evidence‑based policy development and collaborative reform initiatives. She has been involved in campaigns promoting workers’ rights, accessible education, and stronger social protections, and is committed to amplifying community voices in national policy debates.


Madeleine holds degrees in political science and international studies, and continues to pursue research through a Masters of Public Policy and Governance.
