The Foundation has hosted countless public forums, promoted progressive research and produced numerous publications over its 40 years in an effort to stimulate public debate and promote progressive ideals.

This past year, a year like no other, as the world has faced the COVID-19 global pandemic, our usual program of events and forums has been radically altered. The Executive Committee has continued to meet, although in a virtual fashion and the Foundation has responded with the launch of a new website and the digital release of a special edition of the Evatt Journal, ‘After the lockdown: essays on a post-covid world’. In it, we consider the consequences of the pandemic for progressive politics and the policy responses to a post-COVID world. You can access the publication here.
