Joanne Morris

Treasurer of the Evatt Foundation 

Joanne is a long time activist from Sydney, who started her career as an English and History high school teacher.  She then went on to become a senior advisor to NSW Deputy Premier John Watkins.

Joanne was elected to the Hurstville City Council in 1999, and was elected its Mayor in 2003.

Joanne joined the Evatt Foundation Executive in 2009 and was elected Treasurer in 2011.
